Privacy Policy
Effective July 19, 2026
Ordeniva is built to help you organize your work and life without turning your attention into a product.
1. Summary
Ordeniva has no advertising, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, or developer-run account system. The developer does not sell personal information or operate a server that receives your Ordeniva tasks and projects.
2. Information processed by the app
Ordeniva processes the content you choose to enter, including tasks, notes, projects, subtasks, tags, dates, completion history, attachments, people you are waiting on, and optional location details. This content is used to provide the features you request.
3. On-device storage, iCloud, and extensions
Your Ordeniva data is stored on your devices and, when iCloud is available, in your private iCloud database. Apple processes iCloud data under its own terms and privacy policy. Widgets and Messages use an Apple app-group container containing counts, upcoming-task details, project summaries, due dates, and routing information. A Live Activity receives the focused task title, identifier, and start time. The Apple Watch app stores and syncs Ordeniva data through the same private iCloud container.
4. Shared lists
If you create or accept a shared list, Apple CloudKit makes that list and its tasks available to the people participating in the share. Participants can view or change shared content according to their permissions. Do not place information in a shared list unless you are comfortable sharing it with every participant.
5. Calendar, maps, location, notifications, device authentication, and Spotlight
Ordeniva requests access only when a feature needs it. Calendar write access creates a time block when you ask. A place search sends the words you enter to Apple MapKit; a selected place and coordinates can be saved for an arrival reminder. Notifications deliver task, digest, or weekly-review reminders. Device authentication such as Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode can lock the app. Spotlight may index active task titles, notes, tags, priority, space, and due dates unless Face ID Lock is enabled. You can change permissions in system Settings.
6. Attachments, links, exports, sharing, and AI import
Selected photos and saved links remain with your Ordeniva data. Opening a saved link contacts the destination you chose. JSON exports are temporary files created only when you request them, and the app removes its temporary export files when you use Erase All Ordeniva Data. Content sent through the system share sheet or Messages is handled by the recipients and destination services you choose. Generate Tasks on Device uses Apple’s on-device language model. If you choose Copy AI Prompt, Ordeniva writes project name, notes, and next action to the clipboard so you can send it to an external AI service yourself; Ordeniva does not send that prompt to the service.
7. Founding Access and App Store transactions
Ordeniva reads Apple’s signed original app version and acquisition date on device to determine Founding Access and future purchase eligibility. The developer does not receive this transaction information on a backend. TestFlight and development installs do not establish App Store Founding Access.
8. Information received outside the app
If you email support or send TestFlight feedback, the developer receives the address, message, diagnostics, screenshots, and other information you choose to include. That information is used only to respond, troubleshoot, secure, and improve Ordeniva.
9. Disclosure, sale, advertising, and tracking
The developer does not sell or rent personal information, serve advertising, create advertising profiles, or track you across apps or websites. Information may be disclosed when you choose to share it, when Apple provides an enabled platform service, or when disclosure is legally required.
10. Retention and deletion
Your Ordeniva data remains until you delete it. Individual records can be deleted in the app. Settings → Data & Privacy → Erase All Ordeniva Data removes local records, queues deletion of owned shared lists or departure from joined lists, ends the current focus session and Live Activity, and clears temporary exports, widget data, scheduled reminders, and Spotlight entries. iCloud changes may finish after the device reconnects. Copies you saved, pasted, exported, or sent to other people are outside Ordeniva’s control. App Store acquisition history is maintained by Apple under its terms and is not erased by Ordeniva.
11. Your choices and requests
You can use Ordeniva locally when iCloud is unavailable, decline optional permissions, hide task titles in widgets and notifications, enable Face ID Lock, leave shared lists, export a backup, delete individual records, or erase all Ordeniva data. The Privacy Choices page summarizes these controls. Privacy questions can be sent to sergio@romanotech.com.
12. Security and data loss
Ordeniva relies on Apple platform security, app sandboxing, device protections, and iCloud security. No system can guarantee absolute security or availability. Keep exports you need and do not rely on Ordeniva for emergency, safety-critical, or legally required reminders.
13. Children
Ordeniva is a general productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect children’s information through an account or backend.
14. International processing
Apple and email or hosting providers may process service data in countries other than your own under their terms and legal obligations. Ordeniva does not operate a separate developer database of your task content.
15. Changes
This policy may be updated as Ordeniva evolves or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page and in the app.
16. This website
The Ordeniva public site does not use advertising, analytics, behavioral tracking, or a submission form. Its hosting provider may process standard network request data needed to deliver and secure the site. Selecting the support link opens your email app; no message is sent until you choose to send it.
17. Contact
Privacy questions and requests can be sent to sergio@romanotech.com. Include only the information needed to explain your request.
